On the 18th June 2009 Year Six received the sacrament of Confirmation. This was a very special night for all.

We are participating in the JUST IMAGINE competition that WOLLONGONG ART GALLERY are running. Below are the artworks which we can choose to write about.

On the 31st March Stage 3 students got to participate in a Cybersafety Presentation. We learnt how great the internet can be when we use it SMARTLY and SAFELY. We learnt to protect private information and to be careful of what we post online, especially photos !!! We also learnt that even once you remove photos etc online ……that they are never really gone for good…..as Google keeps a BACK UP  of everything that is posted.

It was a great presentation.

On the 19th March Stage 3  visited Sule College to celebrate HARMONY DAY. 

We played games, planted trees and made different artworks.

We learnt that we are all unique and special and that all values and beliefs need to be respected.

On 23rd February we were all fortunate to attend the National Young Leaders Day which was held at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. We were inspired by the awesome speakers. Visit the website by clicking the link below:

On 20th February 2009 we celebrated our roles as leaders in our school by participating in a special commissioning mass. Our parents and friends attended the mass and also the special morning tea, which was held afterwards in our honour!

Last week our class was fortunate to participate in the CYBERSMART DETECTIVES.

This was an online simulation that taught us all about how to STAY SAFE ONLINE!
